Maj. Gen. Paul E. Mock, USA (ret.)

Paul Mock is the National Chair Emeritus, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). He served four years, from 2013 to 2017. ESGR, consisting of 4,600 volunteers, is a Department of Defense agency whose mission is to develop and promote a culture of employer support from all public and private employers for the men and women of the National Guard and Reserve and their families. In 2008, Paul retired from the United States Army Reserve after 36 years of service. His civilian career was with the Los Angeles Police Department. He retired in July 1998 after 25 years of service. Paul’s U.S. Army experience included service as the Commanding General, 311th Support Command (Corps) and the 63d Regional Readiness Command, both in Southern California. In August 2004, he was mobilized for Operation Iraqi Freedom as Commanding General, 377th Theater Support Command, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
