Honoring the Fallen, Celebrating Our Veterans and Servicemembers

Memorial Day is About More Than Picnics and Parades
Americans honor Memorial Day in different ways. For most, the holiday marks the start of summer – a time for picnics, parades, and flying the flag. But for many Americans, Memorial Day is the one single day where they hope that the rest of the country will think about and honor in some way their fallen family members and friends – those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our great country.
So, please take some time this holiday weekend to not only commemorate these great Americans but also to embrace the living men and women who served our country – our Veterans and those who wear the uniform today.
All American soldiers, sailors, airmen, coastguardsmen, and Marines with us now or who live on in our collective memory played a part in protecting the liberties and rights that we hold dear. Let us pledge that we will honor them throughout the year.
When you encounter a Veteran or a currently serving member of the U.S. Armed Forces, tell them you appreciate and admire their choice to serve.
Thank you.
This Memorial Day, please show your support with a donation that will enable the MVAT Foundation to serve more Veterans, wounded warriors, and their families!
